On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
Last night, ADILES had the pleasure of taking part in the forum theatre organised by the Mairie des Abymes.
In the hall of the CHAZEAU Community Centre, over 120 women and men gathered to attend 3 impactful short plays, followed by rich and necessary discussions with the speakers and the audience.
A sensitive, participatory, and human approach that allows the unspeakable to be spoken, opens dialogue, and raises awareness of domestic violence against women in a different way.
Because the fight against violence is not waged solely through statistics - it also involves empathy, the stage, debate, and the perspective of others.
