The GREEN project ("Gather Recycling Economic and Employment for Inclusion of NEET’s Young") is an international initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment between the ages of 18 and 30, particularly those not in employment, education, or training (NEETs). This project is driven by a consortium of four organisations (ADILES, CKB, Solidarity Tracks, H20) who share a common observation: a high rate of youth unemployment and a lack of visibility regarding employment opportunities in the circular economy sector.
To remedy this, GREEN offers a stimulating educational environment for:
To develop entrepreneurship, creativity, and civic responsibility in young people.
Promoting the exchange of best practices in job creation and social entrepreneurship related to the circular economy.
In concrete terms, GREEN offers non-formal learning experiences designed to enhance the employability of young NEETs and support their social entrepreneurship in the circular economy.
The project also sets up co-creation spaces to develop innovative educational tools, which are then tested and adapted in each partner region based on feedback from young people.
Initiated as part of the KA2 Innovation action, GREEN is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Youth and Sport programme.
