A look back at the GREEN project's Final Event

«The G.R.E.E.N. project, funded by the Erasmus+ Youth and Sport programme, aims to introduce circular economy principles to NEETS (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young adults and highlight exciting entrepreneurial opportunities within this field. Partner organisations from three countries (Guadeloupe - France -, Portugal, and Greece) have met to debate and discuss the GREEN project's results and the training tools and resources available online on the multilingual GREEN platform. GREEN Project: Towards an Inclusive Circular Economy (greenprojectec.com). This important event is co-financed by the EU.

Among the highlights:

🎨two round tables, one on the capitalization & dissemination of GREEN outputs and the other on the establishment of an incubator to support vulnerable groups in creating jobs in the circular economy.

🎨 upcycling workshops for marine waste with @lizzyartwork, where young people from @rota.jovem and a group of volunteers, whose volunteering experiences in Portugal were organised and allowed them to make a lampshade and a smiley artwork using fishing ropes and crab cages.

🎨We also enjoyed a zero-waste lunch, where guests could cook meals with the chef, demonstrating how every part of a vegetable, including the turnip tops here, can be used to cook starters, main courses, and even desserts. Delicious.

🎨In the afternoon, we also tested the serious game live and highlighted it. GREEN CIRCULOPILIS with around twenty enthusiastic young people!

Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!»
